Only the World’s best cutters can obtain the perfection of a Hearts & Arrows diamond.
What is a Hearts and Arrows Diamond
The Make is the term used in the diamond industry to refer to the diamond’s cut. In order to be cut a Hearts and Arrows diamond, it is necessary to start with a “rough” (uncut) diamond which naturally has the proper dimensions and proportions. Less than one percent of the rough diamonds mined annually possess the proper characteristics to be cut into a Hearts and Arrows Diamond. The result is nothing less than the most exceptional and beautiful diamonds in the world.

A Hearts & Arrows Diamond under 10x magnification
Pictured above is a Hearts and Arrows diamond as it appears under proportion scope. The perfect hearts pattern is visible when looking at the diamond from the bottom and the arrows are visible when looking at the diamond from the top. These patterns only appear on a diamond which is cut to mathematically precise proportions that is beyond an Super Ideal Cut, it is a Super Ideal Cut.
Because of the mathematically precise proportions, a Hearts and Arrows diamond reflects more than 98% of the light back to your eyes, making it appear larger, livelier and more scintillating than a lesser cut diamond.
The key to the Hearts and Arrows fire and brilliance is its Make (cut). It is what sets this diamond apart, thus our slogan…
The Magic is in the Make.
